Introduction

Cardiology Technology is a specialty assisting in diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the cardiovascular system (CVS) such as congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology of the heart. Students are able to apply their knowledge to studies of the CVS, and are able to use relevant computer assisted technologies.

Cardiovascular technologists may specialize in any of three areas; invasive cardiology, echocardiography, vascular technology

Course Eligibility

1. Candidate must have completed the 12 year of education.
2. Candidate should have 3rd division or equivalent percentage in intermediate / A-Level (Biology Mandatory)
3. Candidate should have 3rd division or equivalent percentage in matriculation.

Duration of Course

The duration for this program is 4 years that is 8 semesters.
